Fairy or faery? Which is correct spelling? Is there a difference? What do people mean when they say “fae”? As an avid fan of fairy tales and fantasy books and movies, this is actually something I’ve been curious about for a long time. But as I started to dig into the subject, the information wasContinue reading “Fairy or Fae”

The Topic of Grief
I think all of us who have watched a movie about a hero on a quest (or seen a Disney movie, for that matter) have noticed a common theme in those stories. Dead parents. I know, I know, that’s a super morbid thought. Why have I even brought it up?
A Novel Update
Get it? It’s a joke, because it’s an update about the novel I’m writing and also it’s a novel (new, unique, rare) experience that I’m posting and update…. Haha…. Anyway, some people out there have been curious about the novel I’m writing, Nova’s Test.

NaNo Decision
(Sidenote: I had all this recorded, but my weekend’s been a little crazy so I haven’t had a chance to edit and upload it. I figured it would be fatster to just type this.) It’s almost November, the time of year when writers go crazy (well, crazier than usual). National Novel Writing Month. We writersContinue reading “NaNo Decision”
Want a Story?
I offer a story (also known as my bleeding heart….) if you want it. Until next time, word nerds!
Why the Best Ones Die
Gandalf. Obi-Wan Kenobi. Mufasa. Have you started crying yet? In so many fantasy stories, and some of our favorite Disney movies too, we are faced with the death (however brief) of beloved characters. Aside from the fact that writers are cruel, inhuman monsters who like to toy with the emotions of readers and movie-goers, thereContinue reading “Why the Best Ones Die”
